Two children, ages 6 and 2, were found alone on Sunday by a police patrol near a shopping center on Independentei Street, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Sometimes parents get drunk and when they sober up they realize they've lost their children somewhere. This seems to be the case”, said Eufalia Negreata, doctor-on-duty at the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, where the abandoned children were brought to for a routine examination. The children have said their names are Nichita and Liuba Birca. Currently they receive medical care at Valentin Ignatenco Hospital.
