Two children and their grandmother were fatally injured in a traffic accident in Volentiri village of Stefan Voda district, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Traffic Police Division, the accident happened on February 12 at about 7pm. A car driven by a 32-year-old man went out of control and struck the three pedestrians. The woman aged 50 died on the spot. One of the children aged three died on the way to the hospital, while the other child aged two was admitted to the reanimatology section of the Stefan Voda District Hospital in a serious condition. The reanimatology section’s head Anatolie Gorila has told Info-Prim Neo that the child brought to the hospital died shortly afterward. He was diagnosed with brain injury, injury to the internal organs, pulmonary traumatic shock and hypothermia. The case is investigated by the Stefan Voda Traffic Police Commissariat.
