The checkpoint crossings Cosauti-Iampoli and Soroca-Tsekinovka, situated on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, remain closed owing to the ice bridges that formed over the Nistru River. Another five border crossing points located in southern Moldova resumed work, IPN reports.

Press officer of the Border Police Daniela Manzatu said the border crossing points Vulcanesti-Vinogradovka, Ceadir-Lunga-Maloiaroslavets, Ceadir-Lunga-Novyie Troiani, Cairaclia-Zaliznichnoe, and Cismichioi-Dolinskoe work according to the ordinary program.
