Two buses will travel to the border of Poland with Ukraine to bring safely home the Moldovan citizens who are stuck there, with the authorization of the Commission for Exceptional Situations, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
According to the Ministry, Moldova’s Embassies in Warsaw and Kiev make approaches to ensure the transition and create a sanitary corridor to Moldova by observing the necessary epidemiological norms.
Also, a charter flight from Warsaw will fly to Moldova the next few days.
The Ministry calls on the Moldovans to visit the websites of the National Motor Transport Agency and the Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova so as to see if the routes and flights they intend to use had been approved by the Commission for Exceptional Situations.
A number of Moldovans remained stuck in Poland, several kilometers from the border with Ukraine, after Ukrainian customs officers banned them from crossing.
