Two buses from Belarus on trial in Chisinau

Two buses made in Belarus will be tested in Chisinau during 35 days. They have a capacity of 72 and, respectively, 105 seats and cost about US$100,000, IPN reports.

Head of the Chisinau General Public Transport and Communications Division Igor Gamretski Monday said the price of buses can rise by up to 30%, depending on their equipment. A team of specialists of the bus factory came to Chisinau to monitor the units of transport while they will be tested in the conditions of the municipality.

Head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci said the company may assemble not only trolleybuses, but buses too if they are bought in accordance with the same intergovernmental agreement that was signed by Moldova with Belarus.
