Two boys, 10 and 12, were injured in road accidents in Chisinau on Sunday. Chisinau Road Security Inspector Ion Rosocvanu told Info-Prim Neo that the accident occurred at the crossroad of Alba Iulia and Liviu Deleanu streets at 17.00. The two boys who were riding on a Honda scooter collided with a Mercedes van, circulating on the route no.121. Both of them are studying at “Liviu Deleanu” Lyceum. As a result of the collision the boy driving the vehicle suffered concussion of the soft tissue of the right arm, and his passenger – concussion of the soft tissue of the head. According to the road regulations, a scooter can be driven on a public road only if the driver reached 16, and a bicycle – starting at 14. Another accident occurred on Studentilor Street during the reported period. A Nissan-Sunny hit a young man aged 20. The victim suffered mental shock. At 3.30, at the crossroad of Pelivan and Belinski Street two vehicles collided– a Mercedes and a Dacia-Logan. The passenger of Dacia aged 26 suffered concussion of the soft tissue of the left shoulder. Over the past 24 hours the road inspectors registered 9 road accidents and 5 injured persons. 27 drivers were found driving intoxicated.
