Two bicyclists killed in road accidents
Two bicyclists died in traffic accidents on the weekend. One of them have not been yet identified, Chisinau Traffic Police spokeswoman Dana Andronic has told Info-Prim Neo.
A Volga driven by an 18-year-old man struck a bicyclist on a road near Causeni town. The man died on the spot.
Another bicyclist aged 46 was fatally hit by a Hyundai on Grenoble St in Chisinau. The car was driven by a 60-year-old woman.
A minor aged 17 riding a bicycle was struck by a Volvo in Stauceni village. He suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and a concussion.
A 16-year-old minor driving a motorcycle hit a pedestrian aged 33 in Bezeda village of Briceni district. Both were admitted to the Briceni district hospital with different injuries.
The driver of a Hyundai aged 28 tried to overtake a BMW near Straseni and hit the car's wheel. The Hyundai made a U-turn and went straight into a tree. Four occupants of the car were taken to the Straseni district hospital with cranial-cerebral traumas and concussions.
Two persons were killed and 24 injured in road accidents in Moldova during the last two days.
