An ambulance team assisted the delivery of a woman who gave birth to twins at home on the first day of spring in Ungheni. The 903 Service was called by the neighbor of a woman who went into labor.

The ambulance arrived at the scene in about 15 minutes. A child was already born. This was a boy who weighed 1.6 kg. The girl who had a weight of 1.3 kg was born with the assistance of the ambulance doctors. The mother and the newborns were taken to the maternity hospital of the Ungheni District Hospital.

So far this year, the Emergency Medical Assistance Service assisted two women to give birth to twins.
