Twice fewer bodies will perform inspections at companies
The number of institutions that carry out inspections at companies will be halved from 60 to 30, Info-Prim Neo reports, referring to the draft bill on state control over entrepreneurial activities approved by the Government.
According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar, Moldova for the first time approved a bill on state inspection at economic entities. It specifies the cases when the inspection carried out at a company can be unplanned and when it must be planned. The bill obliges analyzing the risks to which the companies are exposed when they are included in the examination plans of the inspection bodies. It allows suspending the inspectors when their actions affect the activity of the economic entity.
The bill envisions instituting the Inspection Registration Catalogue that will oblige the inspectors to present themselves and to make the inspection official. There will be created a National Register and a smaller register for every sector, which will be managed by the specialized central bodies (ministries).
The bill will be submitted to Parliament for adoption.
