Officers of the National Anticorruption Center have launched a campaign to inform the future lyceum graduates of Chisinau about the actions taken to prevent corruption before the Baccalaureate session. As of April 2, meetings will be held with twelfth graders, while the meetings with teachers and, eventually, with parents will be held separately, IPN reports.
According to the National Anticorruption Center, by this campaign the officers of the Center and representatives of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau aim to discuss the consequences of illegal collection of money for buying presents and offering other benefits to assessors with the future graduates who already came of age. The students will be urged to behave honestly in relation to their mates and the teaching staff.
The meetings with students will take place each day throughout April outside classes. These will be held at education institutions in Chisinau. The students will receive materials with anticorruption messages, with explanations as regards acts of corruption and the penalties for them and will be informed about the national anticorruption line 0 800 55555 that they can use to report cases of corruption.
