Turnover in retail trade and service sector up about 20%
The turnover of retail companies in March increased by 19.6% in comparable prices from a month before and by 1.2% compared with the same month of last year, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the National Bureau of Statistics.
The turnover in retail trade in the first quarter of the year rose by 4.4% in comparable prices compared with the corresponding period last year.
The turnover of the companies providing services for the population in March grew by 18.9% in comparable prices on February and by 3.4% on last March, while in the first quarter of this year – by 3.7% compared with the same period last year
In current prices, the turnover of retail companies in March rose by 40.3% on February and by 1.9% on last March, while in the first quarter of 2012 decreased by 3.7% compared with the corresponding period last year.
The turnover of the companies providing services especially for enterprises in March grew by 16.2% in current prices on February and decreased by 4.3% on last March 2011, while in the first quarter of this year fell by 0.2% year on year.
