Several institutions across the country, including the Parliament and the Government, are once again joining the global movement "Earth Hour" this year. Authorities are also encouraging citizens to take part in the event by turning off their lights today, March 22, between 20:30 and 21:30, IPN reports.
"This way, we will stand in solidarity with people around the world, contributing to environmental protection and mitigating the effects of climate change," states the message issued by Parliament.
This event has already gained global impact, with millions of people from over 8,000 cities in 195 countries joining in to send a powerful message about the importance of protecting our planet.
"Earth Hour" reminds us that even small actions can have a significant impact, and together we can contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
The website of Premier Energy has a dedicated section for "Earth Hour", offering simple and effective recommendations for saving electricity.
