The first official visit to Moldova by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be made on October 17-18. The information was confirmed by the Ambassador of Turkey in Chisinau Gürol Sökmensüer in a meeting with President Igor Dodon, IPN reports.

On his Facebook page, President Dodon wrote that while in Moldova Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will travel to the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.

“The visit will be organized at the highest level and will contribute to strengthening, developing and extending the relations of cooperation between our states in all the areas of common interest,” wrote Igor Dodon.
