Turkish Premier to visit Moldova

The Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim will make a two-day official visit to Moldova at the invitation of Premier Pavel Filip. The Turkish official will arrive in Chisinau on the afternoon of May 5. Immediately after landing, he will have a bilateral meeting with his Moldovan counterpart. This will be followed by a broader meeting of the delegations of Moldova and Turkey, IPN has learned from the Government’s press service.

After the signing of bilateral documents, there will be held a news conference and a ceremony to inaugurate the complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Moldova. Towards evening, Binali Yildirim will meet with President Igor Dodon and Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu.

On May 6, Pavel Filip and Binali Yildirim will take part in the opening of the Moldovan-Turkish Business Forum in Chisinau and will visit the Mother and Child Institute, where a new rehabilitation section will be inaugurated. Afterward, the two Premiers will travel to Comrat to meet with the Governor of ATU Gagauzia Irina Vlah and will then make statements for the press.

Later the same day, Pavel Filip and Binali Yildirim, together with Irina Vlah, will take part in the fourth congress of Gagauz people from all over the world and will then visit the State University of Comrat and will take part in a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of an ecological hotel in Comrat town.
