The Embassy of Turkey, as well as several companies from this country intend to strengthen relations with Moldova in what concerns the field of culture and tourism. A meeting in this respect took place with the representatives of the media and tourism related companies fro Moldova at Leogrand hotel on Saturday. The Cultural attaché of the Embassy of Turkey, Ahmert Canga, stated that Turkey intends to strengthen relations with the countries it has cultural and historical links. An ample program for the implementation of this objective was drafted by the Turk Ministry of Culture and Tourism. According to Almert Canga, Moldova is also included in this list of countries with which Turkey has friendship relations, based on the cultural relations and history. The meeting opened the row of planned actions and aimed at launching a tighter collaboration between the tourism-related companies from Moldova and Turkey, Ahmert Canga stated. According to the cited source, several exhibitions, musical shows, movie festivals as well as business meetings between the travel agencies from both countries will be organized in the near future. The diplomat says that a group of journalists from Moldova will come to Turkey for documentation. The expenses will be covered by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism from Ankara, as well as by Turkish Airlines. The journalists from Turkey will also visit Moldova. Turkey is a Eurasian country that stretches across the Anatolian peninsula in Southwestern Asia and the Balkan region of Southeastern Europe.
