President Igor Dodon said Turkey decided to fully finance the repair works on the Presidential Building in Chisinau, which are planned to be completed by the end of next May. The subject was discussed by President Dodon in a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Hakan Çavuşoğlu, IPN reports.

“This became possible owing to the previous agreements with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at my request. The ceremony to open the Presidential Building will take place during the official visit by the President of the Republic of Turkey to Moldova that will take place in May 2018, at my personal invitation,” Igor Dodon wrote on his Facebook page.

The President thanked for the financial and technical assistance provided to the Republic of Moldova through the agency of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency in implementing a number of projects in different areas at national and regional levels, including in ATU Gagauzia and other districts.
