Tudor Ulyanovski joins PSDE, to serve as deputy chairman

Former independent presidential candidate Tudor Ulyanovski, together with his team, joined the European Social Democratic Party (PSDE), led by former Democrat Ion Sula. Ulyanovski was elected deputy chairman of the PSDE, IPN reports.

Tudor Ulyanovski said that the presidential election divided society, which is why it is necessary to combine forces and bring new energy to Moldovan politics. "It is time to revitalize the European project in the Republic of Moldova and to act decisively ahead of the 2025 parliamentary elections," Ulyanovski told a press conference.

In the coming weeks, Ulyanovski said, the new members of the PSDE will continue to be announced. Among them are habilitated doctors, university professors, renowned doctors, lawyers and businessmen, who were part of his team in the presidential elections.

PSDE chairman Ion Sula said that a process of consolidation of the party and preparation for the parliamentary elections is taking place. This process will include attracting notable personalities, setting up new local organizations and strengthening existing party organizations.

According to Ion Sula, the party's efforts are aimed at preparing for the parliamentary elections so as to offer the pro-European citizens a serious alternative in 2025 because the presidential election and the constitutional referendum showed that this alternative is necessary and the PSDE can ensure it.
