Tudor Copaci confirmed as NAER director

Tudor Copaci was confirmed to the post of director of the Administration Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER). A draft decision to this effect was adopted by Parliament on March 30, IPN reports.

Stefan Creanga, chairman of the Parliament’s commission on economy, budget and finance, said Tudor Copaci was chosen at a public contest announced last December. The contest involved ten candidates. As a result of interviews and assessment of candidates’ professional and managerial skills, Tudor Copaci obtained the highest score. He will serve as NAER director for a six-year term.

Tudor Copaci was secretary general of the Government (2016), deputy minister of economy (2013 – 2015), director general of the Agroindustrial Agency “Moldova-Vin” (2009), director general of the Public Property Agency (2009-2013), deputy minister of economy and trade (2008 - 2009) etc.
