Truth about April 7 events would be found out next year
The Parliament extended the mandate of the commission for the investigation of the April events up to six months. The commission's head Vitalie Nagachevski said the truth would be found out by April 7, 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The 60-day mandate of the commission expires on December 20. According to Nagachevski, the commission did not manage to process all the information it possess, adding that two institutions provided data only recently. Therefore, they asked that the mandate be extended.
The commission for the investigation of the April events was constituted on October 20. Under the decree on its constitution, the report on the causes and consequences of the April events was to be presented by December 20, 2009.
