A truck transporting about 24 tonnes of diesel fuel overturned near Sangerei town at 4am on April 4. Fortunately, no fire broke out.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the truck skidded off the road, ran into a protection fence and turned over. Five tonnes of fuel leaked out of the truck. The driver was taken to the hospital with traumas.

Intervention teams are working on the spot to clean the place up.
