The timetable of trolleybuses No. 8 that runs on the Traian Blvd – “La Izvor” Park in Chisinau was extended until 1am as of January 31 this year, IPN reports.

According to the municipality, the decision was taken at the request of citizens so as to offer public transport services until late at night, including for the comfort of travelers who use the railway transport as route No. 8 goes by the Railway Terminal.

This way, four units of transport on the trolleybus route No. 8, which ensures connection between Botanica, Centru (Railway Terminal) and Buiucani districts, will run at an interval of 25 minutes from each other.

Until now the trolleybuses on route No.8 ran until close to 11pm.

This is the third municipal trolleybus route, alongside routes No. 24 and No.  22, which runs after midnight.
