The trolleybuses running on route No. 24 that connects Ciocana district and Telecentru quarter will partially change their itinerary and will run on the section of Columna St between the streets Mitropolit Bănulescu Bodoni and V. Alecsandri St and further as usual, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company.



The move is aimed at avoiding the doubling of the route of trolleybus No. 12 and at extending the trolleybus service area.

Contacted by IPN for details, Vasile Chirilescu, head of the Chisinau City Hall’s Communication Division, said there is no decision yet as to the date when the modified itinerary will start to be used.
