The trolleybus routes No.14, 16 and 27 have been suspended for the summer period. The head of the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Gheorghe Morgoci has told IPN such a decision was taken because these routes are not in demand.

The trolleybuses will resume running on these routes in September, when the number of passengers is expected to double.

The trolleybus route No. 14 connects Rascani and Buiucani districts, route No. 16 joins Centru and Ciocana districts, while route No. 27 connects the Ceucari quarter and Buiucani district.
