The Supervisory Board (SB) and the administration of the Company Teleradio-Moldova (TRM), in partnership with the Mass-Media Programme of Soros Foundation Moldova are organising on September 19 and 20 the theoretical and practical seminar themed “The Supervisory Board and its Competences: Establishing Editorial Policies and Approving the Terms of Reference”. According to a press release from the Foundation, the goal of the seminar is to improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the participants in managing the public audiovisual sector, in compliance with the new requirements of the domestic laws in the field. The seminar, which will be attended by members of the relevant parliamentary committees, representatives of the Broadcasting Coordination Council and of civil society, will be the first of a series of events dedicated to the development of the public radio and TV services. The seminar will be held with the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency SIDA.
