Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) kicked off the national stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Those who want to represent Moldova at the contest can file applications until January 17, IPN reports, with reference to company’s website.

The national selection will take place in two stages – examination of files and live auditions. The date when these will be held will be announced later.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, following the country's victory at the 2019 contest in Tel Aviv, Israel, with the song ”Arcade” performed by Duncan Laurence. Moldova this year was represented by Anna Odobescu who failed to qualify for the final.
