Works to trim and cut down trees will be executed on a number of streets in Chisinau on Saturdays, between 7am and 3pm, starting with July 16.

Contacted by IPN, the head of the Green Areas Association Eliferii Haruta said that tree trimming and felling works on July 16 will be performed on the streets Nicolae Milescu Spataru in Ciocana district, Mihai Eminescu in Centru district, Florilor in Rascani district, Dacia and Sarmizegetusa in Botanica district and Columna in Buiucani district. Traffic will not be affected.

In the course of the week, the teams of the Green Areas Association will deal with the people’s requests, while on Saturdays will work on particular streets. According to Eliferii Haruta, the requests in the period are many in number because the trees cannot resist the high temperatures and become dry.
