The tree planting action, scheduled for March 1, is postponed to March 15 due to weather conditions, the Ministry of Environment announced, IPN reports.

"In order to ensure the success of this initiative of afforestation and healthy development of new forests, the planting will take place at a favorable time, when temperatures will be beneficial for the execution of the workˮ, the ministry says.

The location of the action remains the same - the village of Geamana, Anenii Noi district, where more than 140 thousand saplings are to be planted on an area of about 30 hectares.
