Twelve hazardous trees will be felled and forty others will be pruned and trimmed today in Chisinau on Pushkin Street, on the segment between the streets Bucuresti and Stephen the Great. For this reason vehicle traffic on this portion is suspended until 15:00, Info-Prim Neo reports. Chisinau's chief arborist Eliferie Haruta said the felled trees will be replaced by linden trees. “This is the second installment of the efforts planned on Pushkin Street. The first part of the works was carried out on the segment Mateevici – Bucuresti, where we planted 120 linden trees of tall varieties. Immediately after this, we will handle the segment between Stephen the Great and Ierusalim”, said Eliferie Haruta. 60 workers on 6 ladder trucks and 4 specialized vehicles are involved in the efforts.
