Treaty on small-scale border traffic will be signed in Bucharest Nov. 13
The Convention on Small-Scale Border Traffic will be signed by Moldova's Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the Romanian acting Premier Emil Boc in Bucharest on November 13. The announcement was made by Vlad Filat, who will leave for the Romanian capital tomorrow to participate in the Summit of Heads of Government of the Central European Initiative (CEI), Info-Prim Neo reports.
Vlad Filat said the list of settlements that will be covered by the Convention and the distance from the border were already agreed, but refused to give details, saying more information will be made public at a news conference that he will hold after his return from Bucharest.
Asked about the program of the visit to Bucharest, Vlad Filat said he will have meetings with a number of senior state officials, but did not mention a meeting with Romania's President Traian Basescu, as the Romanian press reported.
