The travel allowance intended for persons with severe and moderate and locomotor disabilities and the children with disabilities will be increased by 33.3%. In accordance with the Government’s decision, the higher allowances will be paid starting with the second quarter of this year, IPN reports.

The persons with moderate disabilities from the country’s districts and from the municipality of Bălți will receive a quarterly allowance of 180 lei, which will standardize the allowances for transport services.

The given allowance intended for persons with severe and moderate and locomotor disabilities and the children with disabilities is paid from the state budget through special purposes transfers to the budgets of the territorial-administrative units of the second level. Allowances are offered to 139,000 persons, 10,000 of whom are children with disabilities.
