The access of vehicles to the center of Chisinau will be restricted on Saturday in connection with the holding of the social-sports event "Christmas Marathon", IPN reports.

The authorities announced that between 06:00 a.m. and 03:00 p.m., the section of Stefan cel Mare Ștefan cel Mare Blvd between the streets Bodoni and Pushkin, will be closed to vehicle traffic, as will be the section between the streets Pushkin and Ismail, from 10:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m.

During the event, the intersections of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd with Pushkin and Alecsandri streets will be open only to public transport, with the permission of traffic police inspectors.

The 2024 edition of the "Christmas Marathon" is organized by the SPORTER Sports Club in partnership with the National Triathlon Sports Federation of the Republic of Moldova and the Chisinau City Hall.
