Transnistria’s representatives in JCC take measures to clarify why Alexandru Gorgan was detained, Ion Solonenko
The chairman of the Moldovan delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) Ion Solonenko stated for Info-Prim that the Transnistrian representatives in the Commission are taking measures to clarify why former Deputy Minister of Defense Alexandru Gorgan was stopped at the entrance to Dubasari town and prevented from going.
“I talked with the representatives of Transnistria in the JCC. They went to the scene and are trying to determine the reasons why Alexandru Gorgan was detained,” Ion Solonenko said.
Alexandru Gorgan, Deputy Minister of Defense in 1991-1995, was detained at the entrance to Dubasari and accused of entering Transnistria illegally. The Transnistrian authorities threatened him he will be expelled and banned from entering the region.
