Iurie Leanca said that Moldova’s position on the breakaway republic remains unchanged, as the stance of the international community. “We do not recognize and will not recognize it. It is Chisinau’s position. It is the position of the entire international community. What happens there is the product of Transnistrian leader’s imagination. I hope they will realize that the world changed in these 20 years and it’s time to overcome these stereotypes of the cold war and the stereotypes that they implanted in their minds. They should realize that Transnistria’s future is only within the independent Moldova,” said Iurie Leanca.
