The inhabitants of the Transnistrian region who have Moldovan identification papers will be able to travel to the polling places that will be established on the right bank of the Nistru for voting in the November 1 presidential elections. The decision to lift the travel restrictions for a day for these voters was taken by the Transnistrian administration, IPN reports, quoting the local press.
In connection with the pandemic situation, the travel restrictions in the Transnistrian region were extended until December 1.
The Central Election Commission decided to organize 42 polling stations for the voters from the localities of the Transnistrian region, Bender municipality and some of the villages of Căușeni district.
