Transnistrian pensioners to benefit from pension increments from Russian humanitarian aid

The pensioners from the Transnistrian region will receive a pension bonus of 150 rubles (208 lei) paid from the humanitarian aid offered by Russia, Info-Prim Neo’s correspondent in Tiraspol reports. Transnistria’s acting minister of finance Ala Skribenko said that late in July Russia transferred 72.4 million Russian rubles (100.5 million lei) to the Transnistrian finance ministry. The money was directed to the pension fund. “The same amount will be transferred at the end of August,” the Transnistrian official said. The Russian Federation provides aid to the region under an agreement reached by the Transnistrian leader Igor Smirnov and the deputy prime minister of Russia Alexandr Jukov.
