Transnistrian leader on unannounced visit to Chisinau

Yevgeny Shevchuk is making his first visit to Chisinau as the leader of Transnistria. He arrived in Chisinau in the evening of March 15. The Transnistrian leader was seen at the National Palace, at the concert given by Lara Fabian, together with Prime Minister Vlad Filat. They were also accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Karpov and the Ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine, Info-Prim Neo reports. The visit hasn’t been announced. After the concert, Vlad Filat and Yevgeny Shevchuk were to have a discussion. The subject for discussion wasn’t made public. The first meeting of Filat and the new Transnistrian leader took place in Odessa on January 27.
