Transnistrian delegation accused of making situation in Security Zone tense

The Moldovan delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) accuses the Transnistrian side of making the situation in the Security Zone tense by its ultimate statements and destructive actions, IPN reports.

According to a statement of the Moldovan delegation, the Transnistrian side started to cause tensions in the region in spring, when it unilaterally decided to set up an additional police post in Bender town.

The Transnistrian authorities said they will expel all the Moldovan policemen from Bender and will ban them from entering the Transnistrian region. The actions taken to misinform the population about the local offices of the Migration and Asculum Bureau are also unconstructive, according to Chisinau.

The representatives of Chisinau call on the Transnistrian side to have a correct behavior and insist that international monitoring is needed in the Security Zone.
