Transnistrian conflict discussed in Moscow
The settlement of the Transnistrian conflict formed the main topic of discussion between Moldovan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Popov and his Russian counterpart Grigori Karasin at a meeting on Wednesday, August 3, in Moscow.
According to a press statement from the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the two officials focused on the necessity to prepare the next round of 5+2 negotiations scheduled for September.
The Deputy Minister Andrei Popov met with the Russian representative in the negotiation process, ambassador Sergei Gubarev. They talked about the current situation and prospects of the settlement process.
