Transnistria Days held in Moscow
“Transnistria Days” are held between May 22 and 25 in Moscow, with a series of events including political forums, round tables and scores of different presentations and exhibitions.
The events are expected to be attended by leaders of the separatist republic and Russian officials, who will hold several meetings.
On Wednesday, May 23, Igor Smirnov is going to make a presentation of this book “Together With Russia”.
The events dedicated to Transnistria Days will end on May 25, when several Russian citizens will be decorated with Transnistrian medals.
The media from Tiraspol reported that the speaker of the self-proclaimed republic of Transnistria’s legislature, Evgheni Sevciuk, encountered obstacles on his way to Moscow. He, together with his delegation, was reportedly searched by the Ukrainian border guards.
