Immunization and pediatric specialists of medical centers of the Transnistrian region are taking part in a workshop to develop their skills. The training courses are staged by the National Public Health Agency, the Mother and Child Institute, “Nicolae Testemiţanu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in concert with representatives of the WHO Country Office in Moldova, IPN reports.

The workshop is designed to disseminate the good practices from the right side of the Nistru River, to present the objectives and priorities of the European and global immunization program, to examine medical documents, case studies, practical applications.

The Reintegration Office said the final goal is to ensure access to high-quality medical services based on scientific evidence in the management of emergencies involving children and adverse events following immunization.
