Traffic restrictions prejudice Chisinau Electric Transport Company
The traffic restrictions that will be imposed on the Independence Day and the preceding week will cause considerable damage to the Chisinau Electric Transport Company, director Gheorghe Morgoci said on Monday, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
”The Electric Transport Company’s revenues will considerably diminish. The incomes this week and the next week are expected to be lower again,” said Gheorghe Morgoci, without specifying the projected losses.
Deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu asked that the passengers be permanently informed about the changes in trolleybuses’ routes. “The conductors and drivers must be instructed to clearly explain the route changes these days. Passengers complain that they are not provided with the correct information,” he said.
The Great National Assembly Square and sections of a number of Chisinau streets will be closed for traffic on August 24 and 27 while the military column will move along them. The trolleybuses and buses will run on Bucuresti St.
