Owing to the heavy snowfall, the Romanian Border Police instituted on the Romanian side traffic restrictions on particular road sections that lead to the Leușeni – Albița customs post. The Border Police of Moldova call on the travelers to avoid this customs post if it’s possible, IPN reports.

The border police on both sides of the Prut informed the participants in transfrontier traffic about the meteorological conditions and recommended not starting long journeys, especially if the vehicles are not appropriately equipped.

According to the Border Police, all the border crossing points on the frontier with Ukraine and with Romania at 11am worked as usual.
