Traffic restrictions on Chisinau streets
Sections of streets in Chisinau will be closed for traffic in connection with the official visit of the European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Traffic Police Division, the European official will arrive at the Chisinau International Airport at 3pm and the streets along which the official column will move will be temporarily inaccessible to traffic.
From 15.30 until 15.50, the column will travel to the Government Building along the route Dacia – Viaduct – Bucuresti – Pushkin. Between 17.20 and 17.25, it will move to the State Residence located on Sfatul Tarii St along the streets Pushkin, Stefan cel Mare and Sfatul Tarii. At 18.15, the procession will go to Nobel Hotel along the streets Sfatul Tarii, Stefan cel Mare, and Eminescu.
At 19.40, the column will set off for the wine complex Cricova and will move along the streets Stefan cel Mare, Mihai Viteazu, Petricani, and Calea Orheiului.
At 08.30 on February 28, the official will travel back to the Chisinau International Airport along the route Stefan cel Mare – Ciuflea – Viaduct – Dacia.
The European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht comes to Moldova to take part in the negotiations on the creation of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the EU and Moldova.
