Traffic circles or rotaries will be laid out on Alecu Russo St in Chisinau from this week. They will appear at the intersection with Moscovei Blvd. and with Mihail Sadoveanu St, IPN reports.
In the October 7 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Vitalie Butucel, deputy head of the Public Transport and Communications Division, said the designing works are close to an end and all the competent institutions authorized the laying out works, including the National Patrolling Inspectorate. The Ministry of Regional Development and Construction is the last institution that is to give the go-ahead.
Vitalie Butucel also said that one more traffic circle will be soon designed for the intersection of the streets Alecu Russo and Nicolae Dimo. It wasn’t initially planned, but its necessity appeared meanwhile. Until the reconstruction of Alecu Russo St is finished, this last rotary will be built there.
Four more traffic circles will be set up in Chisinau at the following intersections: Mihai Viteazu – Stefan cel Mare si Sfant; Ciuflea - Stefan cel Mare si Sfant; Ismail - Stefan cel Mare si Sfant, and Vasile Alecsandri- Stefan cel Mare si Sfant.
