Traffic accidents cause new victims

A young man died, while another one was seriously injured in a road accident that happened near Caslita-Prut village yesterday at about 10pm, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Paulina Yakimovski,senior PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, said a VAZ-2103 driven by a 22-year-old man collided head-on with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.
The 21-year-old motorcyclist died on the way to the hospital, while his passenger aged 27 was hospitalized with severe head traumas and an open fracture of the femur. The occupants of the VAZ were unhurt.
Two minors aged 14 from Malcoci village of Ialoveni district were struck by a car in Nisporeni village. They were rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Chisinau with associated traumas.
An Audi-80 driven by a man aged 21 skidded in Drochia town and hit two trees and a utility pole. The driver and two passengers aged 22 and 25 suffered injuries.
The driver of a Mercedes-200 and two occupants were taken to the hospital in a serious condition after their car ran into a fence in Balabanesti, Criuleni and overturned.
A motorcycle crashed into a tree in Edinet district. Three persons aged between 18 and 21 sustained head injuries and fractures.
One person was killed and 27 injured in 15 accidents on the national roads yesterday and last night.
