Trade Club International invites investors to join community projects in Moldova
Trade Club International, an organization that includes representatives of over 20 diplomatic missions accredited in Chisinau and mayors from Moldova, invite both domestic and foreign companies to invest in a large variety of community projects.
Some of the projects were presented on Friday at a meeting of the Club. Most of them concern water supply and sewer systems, road revamping, street light provision in villages and reconstruction of social and cultural institutions.
“We hope investors will find these projects attractive, enabling us to develop infrastructure in Moldovan communities. Almost all the projects aim at developing infrastructure and creating better conditions for the citizens of the communities we represent here”, Iurie Vintila, Mayor of Carpineni village in Hancesiti district, told Info-Prim Neo. The mayor presented a series of projects, including two for water supply, one for 1,200 homes in Carpineni, and another one concerning Hancesti town. The required investments amount to $2 million.
Sangerei Mayor Maria Condurache also proposed a project to build a low-capacity heating system which would provide with warmth all the public institutions in the town. The cost of this project is 2 million lei.
Many of these projects benefit from financing from European donors, and Romania, as a EU member country, contributes at international level with assistance in cooperation and development. Romania assigned priority to certain countries in the region, including the Republic of Moldova, said Ion Serban, Economic Counselor at the Romanian Embassy.
