Tracom rehabilitates its water supply system
The Industrial Park Tracom has launched its renovated water supply system under a broader infrastructure rehabilitation program that envisages 37 renovation objectives which are to be completed until 2014, the Ministry of Economy informed in a press release.
Attending the launch event Economy Minister Valeriu Lazar stated: “In the past, Tracom used to be regarded as a problem. Now it is being brought into order and things will start to look differently in a year at the most. When we decided to develop it, we had in mind several pilot projects that are intended to inspire and become success stories. We have a lot of industrial platforms inherited from the Soviet times which, through investment, could be converted to successful industrial platforms”.
During the event, Valeriu Lazar handed 21 resident certificates to newcomers to the industrial park Tracom.
The new arrivals to Tracom plan to invest overall 23.9 million euros in areas like machinery and equipment manufacturing, manufacturing of metal items and IT. This is expected to create 900 new jobs and generate annual sales of 580 million lei.
Tracom is one of the three industrial parks existing in Moldova, alongside Bioenergagro and Cimislia.
