Toxicology Section of Holy Trinity Hospital opened
Following a three-year restauration, the Toxicology Section of the municipal Hospital “Sfanta Treime” was put into commission on Wednesday January 31, thus becoming a modern medical centre.
The Hospital’s director Semion Terente told Info-Prim Neo that the Toxicology Section entered the list of medical institutions in Chisinau that are renovated in compliance with the National Programme for reorganisation of the hospital service. Three years ago the local authorities assumed their responsibility to perform renovation works in the Section, while the Government - to endow it with modern equipment.
As Terente says, the renovation of the Toxicology Section was renovated according to European standards. Now the section has also an intensive care unit. Local authorities invested in the renovation works 3 mln lei. Now the Government is to honour its promise regarding the endowment of the Section with modern equipment, head of state asserts. In this respect, a commission headed by first deputy minister Zinaida Greceanyi promised that this problem will be solved next week, the quoted source says.
The “Sfanta Treime” Hospital is 31 years old and has never been restored before. The Hospital has 30 sections, of which only one (Toxicology Section), which has 20 beds, corresponds to the European medical assistance standards.
