Tourists could also take part in Romanian presidential elections
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania informs that under the legislation the Romanian citizens who are temporarily abroad can participate in the November 22 presidential elections and referendum. Thus, the tourists could also cast their votes, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Ministry’s website.
They will be able tot vote at any polling place set up at the embassies or consular offices of Romania abroad. The list of polling places is available on http://www.mae.ro/index.php?unde=doc&id=40633.
The Romanian citizens can vote abroad using the following documents: the identity card, the temporary identity card, the diplomatic passport, the electronic diplomatic passport, the work passport, the electronic work passport, the ordinary passport, the ordinary electronic passport, the ordinary temporary passport, the travel permit. All the identification papers must be valid.
The Ministry recommends the Romanian citizens who will be temporarily abroad on November 22 to look for the address of the closest polling place beforehand.
