A series of tourist attractions in the Republic of Moldova are in the process of rehabilitation and modernization. The works are carried out within the project “Tourist Route in nine communities – creation of investment opportunities in tourism” and will contribute to improving the aspect of buildings, enhancing the territory and reducing maintenance costs. Consequently, a higher number of visitors will be attracted, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the Center Regional Development Agency, recently, employees of the institution paid a working visit to the facilities under rehabilitation. The first destination was the building site in Bursuc village of Nisporeni district, where a parking lot is being built near Hancu Monastery and the recreational area near the local lake is laid out. Afterward, the delegation visited the museum “Anatol Candu” in Vasieni, Ialoveni, where the museum building is being repaired.
The Museum in Rusestii Noi, Ialoveni, is another tourist attraction under repair. The works here include the replacement of the roof cover and woodwork and enhancement of the territory.
The project “Tourist Route in nine communities – creation of investment opportunities in tourism” is financed by the National Regional Development Fund.
